Easy bike route with magnificent viewpoints!

This easy route is 8 miles long and gains 900 feet of altitude. It is very well suited to families with children.

Particularly worth seeing is the small Buchenchäppeli forest chapel, which is along the way. From Schlossweid you will enjoy spectacular views. A nice barbeque facility ensures a cosy lunch break!

Plaffeien village square - Plasselb - Gauglera - Schlossweid - Buechenchäppeli - Berg - Plaffeien village square.

Head from Plaffeien village to Plasselb. From here Gauglera-Neuhaus is only a short ascent away. The varied route takes you through the woods to Buchenchäppeli (3,390 feet asl).

It is worthwhile to stop at Schlossweid. The stunning panorama and the fine barbeque facility are ideally suited for a short rest!

Subsequently go downhill towards Oberschrot. From here return to Plaffeien.
