Mountain bike course

In 1997 the bikers association "Bikeclub Sense Oberland" started planning a course labelled "Bike-Parcours". On June 12, 1999 the course was officially opened and handed over to the public.
A mountain bike course - what is it all about?
Once bikers go for stony routes, it is essential for them to learn appropriate and quick reactions in order to make the most of the technical faculties of their vehicle. The mountain bike course is a place for exercising and ameliorating one's reactions.

The course is composed of 14 artificial obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty. There are instructions for each obstacle explaining how best to overcome them. The course measures 2 miles. Cliff path, eyrie, the Golan Heights, camel hump, iron jump, snake canal - the obstacles offer a training ground for up to 40 different techniques.

The course is conveniently signposted and is located in Hapferen/Plaffeien next to "Vita Parcours" (fitness trail).
